Hey everyone, haven't been on in a while. I guess it's from being really busy.
What's happened since I've been gone. Let's not bore you with the long details, for the most part, let's just say I'm an aunt now!
Ah. I was fine with it for the nine months duration, but when we travelled down to where my brother and his wife lived to help them with the pre-baby stuff I realised. My Gosh my brother is having a baby with his wife... I'm an aunt now...
I was so fine with it, I've known people who were born into the role of being an aunt. But I don't know, I always pictured my brother a lot older when he had kids. Actually, what's really weird is that in most thing's my brother is the MAN of the house. But now that his son, Isaac-he's just like his dad, big ears, long thin fingers, blonde hair.... Well since his son was born he's taken on both roles. He does all the, oh my gosh he sneezed things that mothers do, and he's the one fussing over temperature and what not. He changed over night. Could be Isaac's really healthy set of new born, no I will not sleep when you tell me to and I will poop in my pants if I want to since their my nappy's and I'll cry if I want to lungs.
^ A long sentence. A bit of a mouth full, or at least daiper full.
I think I like being an aunt. You'd think Isaac only being a few days old when I got to hold him would mean that he wouldn't know hair from his foot... Yeah, No... My hair was too much of a long flowing temptation. Yes. He likes my hair and pulls it gently.
He's also a thumb sucker. And a foot sucker. Yes he knows hair from his foot, but it doesn't stop a four day old baby from sucking on his toes. Hands, fingers, feet, he doesn't care as long as it isn't a dummy.
It was noted when I was born that I was going to be a thumb sucker. But alas, I only had my thumb in my mouth a fraction of a second... My nan was wrong... In other news I do chew on my fingers similar to Isaac and his father tends to bite-literally-his knuckles.
Now that it's so darn obvious that he's going to be like Aunty Anna (my sister) who loves her thumbs, regardless of age-she's the moody middle child, older than me younger than Gizmo(Garry) our brother-mum decided to make the worst Zig Fried slip ever... Yes I know it's Froidian, or however you spell it, but what the heck.
Rather than say thumb sucker, as she was eating dinner-of course chewing towards the side of her mouth as not to appear rude- she said...
"He's going to be a sum thucker," wasn't so bad as it was blaitantly a TH and not an F in pronounciation. But we all had the giggles for I have no idea how long.
Then again when me and mum were singing Let It Snow she got the lyrics a bit wrong...
How it should be... "Since there's no signs of stopping, I've brought some Corn for Popping."
How mum sang it... "I've brought some porn for copping."
Trust me, never a dry, I mean dull, moment when mum's making word toss ups.

We have dained her Doc Of the seven dwarves.
Anna is Dopey and Sneezy
Garry is Sleepy
Sammie -his wife- is Happy
Dad is definately Grumpy
I on the other hand am Bashful to the last.
(Even if people call me Snow white, I couldn't see myself marrying that Prince. He wear's lipstick. Though I love her, she comes right out of the Nineteen Thirties and makes people feel all warm and bubbly. I feel more like book worm Belle. It's not my fault my legs are white all year round and I seem pale for someone with Indian blood, there's Scottish, Irish and English in there, too. Silke, a German in my Congregation, is tanned all year round and her pet name for me is Snow White, dark hair and eyes, pale skin, oddly redish lips. Yikes. But Snow White is so much more than I can live up to. I'm someone who has dreams, who aspires to do thing's, I don't inspire other people.)

We reckon Isaac will be Sneezy when he gets older, he likes sneezing. It's quite cute but we won't take one of Anna's names until we know for sure he fits the dynamic.

Being an Aunt has finally sunk in. Isaac fell asleep in my arms at around seven, for the first time the whole first night he came home to my brothers house. He had to be woken up ten minutes later for his daiper. We were trying to give Sammie a break but she came down and sat on the couch to rest instead.
Mum and I were staying on the floor in their living room for the week to help out.
Next thing we know both of them are on the couch half out of it and Isaac's in my arms again and he's asleep again after his daiper and my arms went dead after half hour of rocking him. Garry didn't sleep until I placed the little thing in his arms and then all three of them conked out completely. We have pictures. And then finally Mum and I got to sleep on the floor.
I think I'm too excited to do half of this in logical order.

OH AND THE BIGGEST NEW!
My nan likes me! Wow. She really likes me. It's a revelation. For so long I've felt like I've never been good enough for her but I don't know...
Grandad even said I have sense. I'm still agasp.

And If no one has so far noticed I'm obsessed with Fairy Tales. I'm not just talking Disney, I'm talking across the board. I may study it at some point with the OU along with mythology and anciant culture. It's not just the whole clech`e thing that does it.
I've already studied into a lot of Celtic Legend, like King Arthur-no one gives the bible credit for the story but the legend is based loosely around King David. Only David is both Uthur & Arthur. And Avalon (The Isle of Apples) is symbolic of Paradice and the crystal castle there is based around the visions that appeared to John about the heavenly Kingdom/goverment and God's place of dwelling where he lists opaque, rare and valuable gems as the foundation for the kingdom to so how pure it is and to explain the quality and majesty.
None of this so far, from all of the movies documentaries and studies I have done, has been mentioned before. But Arthur, in some stories, did have a kid with his half sister. (Even if that was David's son and daughter and not himself) But David took another mans wife, as Urthur did in the stories and deliberately killed the husband to have her and because of the child that resulted.
There are pleanty of connections I made. But anyway... I'm going to stop now before I rip the world of its sanity.

(Note, Sammie and Garry aren't married yet, but they're getting that sorted. It just already feels like they are.)

I'm Ashe Masu (AKA C.A.M) and am above most things an aspiring writer. I often draw my characters as Anime and I enjoy it. I wouldn't say I'm the best but I'm very serious about having the characters look just right to match who they are meant to be from my books. I have LOADS of books so I can't begin to explain how many I am editing and re-editing just to be happy with them all myself!

You're welcome. I love the way the sunset is so warm compared to the colour of the water and how the way the tree stands out from the picture.
